This year I teamed up with Dalani to pick up and share with you the four Christmas trends of this year. I know that there are only few days left before Christmas, everyone is decking the halls, buying gifts, making plans for the menu. There few days left and we’ll wave goodbye to the past 2015 and to make more beautiful and comfortable the last days of the year, I’m giving you a little suggestions about your décor. Let’s be honest – Christmas without red is not Christmas. But it’s nice to introduce some trendy stuff from time to time.
Rose / Pink
Elegant, sweet and refined: after Pantone’s announcement of the color of 2016, rose quartz and serenity, thinking about light rose Christmas decoration is not such a bad idea. In light nuances or in bold pink this color can easily turn into your favorite one.
Metallic materials and colors are making a big return the past few years in the interior design and this reflects also the Christmas decoration. Gold, silver and copper – from traditional stars to the alternative Christmas trees, the ideas are so many. The table setting could be the easiest to transform with some center pieces, cutlery or place cards. The copper will give more warmth and elegance: choose some candles, ribbons or vases. The best color combo would be monochrome and gold or copper.
Details, colors and style: Christmas 2015 is Art Deco! Maximum attention to the details and the brilliance: curved lines and V shaped motifs, Pied de poul, zigzag and stripes. Get some inspiration from the Great Gatsby and you’re table setting could be the chicest ever.
Black and White
The combination between black and white is not only the classiest one but the most elegant also between the color combinations. With this mix your Christmas will be stylish and fun at the same time. B&W decorations are suitable for modern and vintage homes, a table setting with black candles and a touch of red or gold will be simple but beautiful.
