At Salone del Mobile 2015 there were many northern stands, but I felt in love with the danish ones long before Milan Design Week. See why…
Carl Hansen & Søn – Behind every piece of furniture lies vision, careful thought and skilled craftsmanship. That’s why they say, that every piece comes with a story. You can see the dedication and attention to every detail in this video below. The craftsman on the viedo I made at Salone del Mobile is one of the best in the company. He has problems with his hearing, but his hands are making magic. The chair is Wishbone chair designed by Hans Wegner.
Muuto – The name MUUTO is inspired by the Finnish word muutos meaning new perspective which is exactly what they are striving to do: expanding the Scandinavian design tradition with new and original perspectives. And it works so well.
