One month ago I brought my baby kitten home. She is an absolutely adorable gray British Shorthair with amber eyes and I was so happy when I found out about Meyou Paris.
After ten year working for different brands and agencies, Aude Sanchez decided to become an entrepreneur and founded Meyou Paris. In order to launch her project, she partnered with Guillaume Gadenne, an industrial designer who accepted to join the adventure. Guillaume translated her ideas into designs and gave life to Meyou. Her idea came when she saw a report on tv about scratching pads with effigies of Putin, Kim Jong-Un that had succeeded in mocking the political regime. And the fact that cat accessories have never been considered on a design level pushed Aude into creating this awesome products.
Meyou is made in France from professionals and the greatest thing is that Meyou is helping other people too! The brand is collaborating with a Parisian organization dedicated to rehabilitating persons with disabilities through work. They use their work in manufacturing, product assembly and stock management. Through Meyou, about ten persons with disabilities will be employed and will become more independent every day.
For now there are only three products available: The Ball, The Cube and The Bed. They are made of combinations between solid wood, metal and woven cotton or wool. High-quality and elegant materials used in interior decor and that will blend seamlessly in our homes. The Ball is my personal favorite – the kitty can play, cuddle up, nap and sharpen its claws at the same time. Purrrfect!
And here is my Maya!
P.S. Support Meyou Paris here so they can create more adorable furniture for our furry friends!
