Like a giant cloud, like a cave of cotton… the temporary store of COS for this year’s Salone del Mobile drawns you into an all-white space, which reimagines the relationship between material and shape.
The installation involved thousands of strips layered white fabric hanging from the ceiling to the floor. The simplistic concept reflects the COS ethos and design philosophy. In collaboration with Daniel Arsham and Alex Mustonen of Brooklyn based studio Snarkitecture , they created a space to relax, wonder and explore.
