Casa Mallorca is one of the latest projects by Ramón García Jurado – a relaxed environment to rest and disconnect.

The clients wanted a sophisticated and at the same time informal house, where they can be in pareo and barefoot all day. Therefore the process consisted in the restoration and renovation of a beautiful balearic country house and its decoration and furnishing. For the construction were used typical materials and techniques of the area in order to execute the restoration of this magnificent house according to the architectural aesthetic parameters of the island. The original parts are preserved and those added or restored give the house a new life that respects its origins and adapts to its new purpose as a holiday residence.

The decoration process of Casa Mallorca took a different turn, trying to escape the rustic canons. Thats why were introduced modern and contemporary elements to the interiors. As for the architectural elements, the typical interlocks
and a stone vault in the fireplace were preserved. As for the flooring – it was added a polished and dyed cement floor that unifies and refreshes all the spaces. Only in the entrance hall remained the chinese pebble typical of the Mediterranean architecture .
