Casa Cook Ibiza is set to open on the White Isle in July 2019 and it will be the fourth hotel under the boutique lifestyle brand and the first in Spain. The first Casa Cook opened in Rhodes in 2016, the second in Kos last summer and the third Casa Cook will open in Chania, Crete, in May this year. Located in Cala Gracio, a secluded bay near San Antonio, this adults-only hotel will be the ideal summer hideaway, just a short stroll away from the famous golden sunsets.
Casa Cook Ibiza is designed by renowned architects Miguel Garcia Quetglas and Andres Garcia Castiella who are behind some of Ibiza’s most iconic locations including Pikes Hotel and Café del Mar. The project involves the transformation of an existing property and an adjacent plot of land into a laid-back oasis, focused on bespoke design and service, authentic cuisine and sense of wellbeing.
The interior is designed to reflect the hotel’s surroundings by using refined natural materials like rattan, stained oak, reclaimed timber and concrete. Besides 116 standard double rooms and a villa, there are six swim-up pool rooms and three penthouse suites with large terraces offering sea views. The hotel will also have two restaurants – one focusing on healthy dishes and the other more locally inspired with an ever-changing menu.
Thomas Cook’s vision was of guests relaxing around the 50-metre pool enjoying cocktails and sunset DJ sets, getting away to practise yoga and providing them the perfect base to explore everything that Ibiza has to offer, day and night. ‘’From start to finish, Casa Cook Ibiza lures you into an intoxicating Ibizan love affair – offering an unmissable opportunity to escape the mundane and experience your own little slice of exclusive bohemia.’’
