Los Enamorados is two lovers waiting for sunrises and sunsets on a sun-kissed terrace.
A hotel, restaurant, bar and boutique all rolled into one, a unique spot on Ibiza’s northernmost tip unlike anywhere else on the island. Owned by former basktetball player Pierre Traversier and magazine editor Rozemarijn de Witte, Los Enamorados is as their website says: an unpretentious place where you can hang out, be yourself and enjoy.
On our latest trip to Ibiza we decided to go to Portinatx, a small village on the northern part of the island. But we ended up sipping coco coffee at the bar at Los Enamorados. I would say ‘The Bar’, thatched with faded palm fronds and lined with sheepskin-topped stools. We were immediately drawn by the mid-century-tropical vibe.
There are just nine rooms in total, each with its own comfy character and unbeatable sea view. The interiors are a beautiful mix of color, texture and artful precision. If you enter the shop, the shoes must go off. But there’s nothing better than walking with your bare feet on the thick carpets – barefoot luxury! However, the best part is that almost everything you see in the hotel is for sale. Furniture, tiles, kilim rugs, kaftans – just choose and take a piece of magic home.
